Meet May Martínez

Hello! I’m May Martinez—wife, mother, and professional photographer based in Doral, Miami.

Photography is my way of preserving what matters most: genuine emotions, loving connections, and the small moments that pass quickly but remain in our hearts forever. For more than 16 years, I have dedicated my career to photographing newborns, maternity, babies, milestones, first birthdays, families, children, and professional portraits.

My journey began in Venezuela. At nineteen, while studying Social Communication and Advertising, I launched my first business: a talent agency specializing in television commercial casting. That experience shaped the way I connect with people, recognize authentic emotion, and appreciate the individuality behind every story I photograph.

Since moving to Miami in 2016, I have rebuilt my photography brand and created a personalized, luxury experience centered on safety, comfort, and timeless artistry. My private studio in Doral is thoughtfully designed to feel warm, calm, and welcoming, allowing parents to relax while every detail is carefully prepared for their baby and family.

I hold international training and certifications in newborn photography and continue investing in advanced education to provide safe posing techniques and a professional experience. Since 2022, the platform Expertise has recognized May Martinez Photography among its selected newborn photographers in Florida.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of photographing many wonderful families, including public figures such as Natti Natasha, Anuel AA, Gaby Espino, Marko Pérez, Yulbert Zambrano, Michelle Lewin, Ximena Duque, Francisca Lachapel, and Chyno Miranda, as well as musicians, athletes, television personalities, beauty-pageant winners, entrepreneurs, and other media professionals.

Still, every family I welcome into my studio receives the same care, attention, and dedication. Whether someone is internationally recognized or visiting me for their very first professional session, every story deserves to be photographed with love.
